<p>Job Description</p><br>Check out the role overview below If you are confident you have got the right skills and experience, apply today.<br><p>Overview:</p><p>Service Service is recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in Automation and Robotics for a highly technical electronics manufacturer based in Norwich.</p><p>This role focuses on industrial automation, robotics integration, and software-driven manufacturing systems within a precision engineering environment.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong programming and automation expertise looking to work on advanced manufacturing technology.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Develop and maintain software for robotic systems and automated test equipment.</li><li>Integrate sensors, actuators, PLCs, and control systems into production processes.</li><li>Support and optimise assembly and test manufacturing systems.</li><li>Implement machine vision and motion control solutions.</li><li>Troubleshoot automation, robotics, and embedded systems issues.</li><li>Document software, system architecture, and manufacturing processes.</li><li>Collaborate with hardware and production engineering teams to improve efficiency and reliability.</li></ul><p>Skills & Experience Required:</p><ul><li>Strong programming experience in C/C++, LabVIEW, and Python.</li><li>Experience with industrial robotics platforms (ABB, Fanuc, KUKA or similar).</li><li>PLC programming and SCADA systems knowledge.</li><li>Experience with motion control, machine vision, and embedded systems.</li><li>Strong understanding of automated assembly and test environments.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.</li></ul><p>Desirable:</p><ul><li>AI/ML knowledge for predictive maintenance or smart automation.</li><li>Experience with IoT or edge computing in manufacturing.</li><li>Background in electronics manufacturing.</li></ul><p>Additional Information:</p><ul><li>£45,000 - £50,000 per annum.</li><li>37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times.</li><li>25 days holiday plus bank holidays.</li><li>Free car parking.</li><li>Profit share bonus.</li><li>Excellent additional benefits following probation period.</li></ul><p>If you’re interested in this Manufacturing Engineer role, please click “Apply Now”. xwzovoh </p><p>A member of the Service Service team will contact you to discuss your application in confidence.</p>
