This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual dedicated to maintaining a quality environment for our members and staff.<br><br>Our Perks:<br><br>B-Fed - complimentary lunch or breakfast.<br>Flexible schedule.<br>28 days annual leave increases with tenure.<br>Free gym membership.<br>Complimentary gym membership for another person (after 2 years service).<br>Discounted Spa Treatments - 30%<br>Discounted Spa Goods - 20% ELEMIS Products.<br>Discounted Meals and Beverages - 50% cafe/bar.<br>Career & Personal Development training.<br>Mental Health, Well-Being and EAP Services.<br>Length of Service Awards.<br>Staff Awards and Bonuses.<br>Discounted entertainment and shopping.<br><br>A typical day in the life of a Maintenance Operative:<br>Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of building systems including; HVAC, plumbing, electrical, swimming pool, fitness equipment.<br>Monitoring of preventative maintenance contractors to ensure the longevity and reliability of equipment.<br>Address and resolve maintenance issues promptly, such as fixing leaks, electrical faults and equipment malfunctions.<br>Troubleshoot problems and determine the most effective solutions coordinating with external contractors for certain repairs when necessary.<br>Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations and club policies.<br>Conduct regular safety checks and risk assessments, reporting any hazards or non-compliance issues to the Maintenance Manager/General Manager.<br>Ensure all areas of the club, including gym floors, changing rooms, and common areas are clear, orderly and good repair.<br><br>What we are looking for:<br>Previous experience in a maintenance role.<br>Strong technical skills and knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical<br>Excellent problem solving abilities and good attention to detail.<br>Physical capability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending and being on your feet for extended periods.<br>Good communications and interpersonal skills.<br>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<br>Valid driving licence and own vehicle.<br><br>It would be desirable if you have a diploma or vocational qualification in a related field, along with knowledge and experience in plumbing and joinery.
