<p><strong>Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias Preferred)</strong></p><p><br><br>Find out more about the daily tasks, overall responsibilities, and required experience for this opportunity by scrolling down now.<br></p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> £40,000 – £53,000 DOE (Includes overtime paid at 1.75x basic rate, dependent on experience)</p><p><br></p><p>Escape Recruitment is looking for a <strong>Multi-Skilled Engineer</strong> to join a secure organisation and become part of a small, experienced engineering team. The role involves working in a busy, fast-moving environment, carrying out planned maintenance as well as responding quickly to breakdowns.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Shift Pattern</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Peak Season (July – September):</strong></p><ul><li>12-hour shifts</li><li>Rotating pattern: 4 days on / 1 day off / 4 nights on / 3 days off</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Off-Peak Season (October – June):</strong></p><ul><li>Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30</li><li>Friday: 07:30 – 14:00</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), inspections, and testing</li><li>Respond quickly to breakdowns, diagnosing and resolving faults effectively</li><li>Undertake installation and commissioning of new equipment</li><li>Support continuous improvement of plant reliability and performance</li><li>Work collaboratively within a small engineering xwzovoh team in a high-output environment</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification</li><li>Strong fault-finding skills on electrical control systems and PLC-controlled equipment</li><li>Experience with conveyors, chain-driven systems, and industrial processing equipment</li><li>Confident working independently and as part of a team</li></ul>
