<p>Job Description</p><br>Want to make an application Make sure your CV is up to date, then read the following job specs carefully before applying.<br><p>Lift Design Engineer – Remote (UK) – Company Car & Bonus</p><p>Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for lift design and innovation? We are seeking a skilled Lift Design Engineer to join a dynamic, growing team. This is a remote role, with occasional travel to customer sites across the UK.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Conduct on-site feasibility and design surveys for lift shafts and motor rooms.</li><li>Develop high-level engineering solutions in line with relevant industry standards.</li><li>Support the sales team with technical validation and customer-facing queries.</li><li>Manage individual project orders, ensuring compliance with internal KPIs and ISO procedures.</li><li>Collaborate with internal and external teams on project-related tasks, including customer meetings.</li><li>Assist with purchasing and cost analysis for project materials and fabrication.</li><li>Produce industry-specific designs using SolidWorks 3D CAD software, including:</li><li>Design of bespoke lift components and assemblies</li><li>Creation of 3D model libraries</li><li>Production of 2D fabrication, assembly, and customer approval drawings</li><li>Generation of photorealistic rendered visuals</li><li>Become proficient with company IT platforms, including CRM and ERP systems.</li><li>Follow company procedures at all times, contributing to business-wide objectives.</li></ul><p>What We’re Looking For</p><ul><li>Motivated, reliable, and punctual professional with excellent time management.</li><li>Confident team player, able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.</li><li>Self-starter who can work independently and adapt to changing priorities.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable learning new IT systems.</li><li>Previous experience in lift installation and modernisation is essential.</li><li>Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant design/engineering discipline.</li><li>Skilled in SolidWorks 3D/2D CAD software (full training provided if required).</li><li>Willing to travel across the UK when necessary; a full UK driving licence is preferred.</li></ul><p>Why Join Us</p><ul><li>Opportunity to work on innovative projects within a supportive, international environment.</li><li>Clear career progression with development opportunities in engineering and design. xwzovoh </li><li>Flexible remote working with occasional site visits.</li></ul><p>If you are passionate about lift engineering and want to grow your career with a forward-thinking company, we would love to hear from you.</p>
