Lead Waste Chemist<br><br>Make your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position.<br>Location: Southampton, UK<br>Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE)<br>Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 7:00am - 4:00pm<br><br>My client is looking for Lead Waste Chemist to join their team based in Southampton. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemistry (or equivalent) and have previous experience in the Waste Management Industry as either a Site Chemist, Mobile Chemist or Technical Assessor.<br>Package Benefits:<br>21 days Holiday + 8 banks - increasing to 25 days with service<br>Company Pension<br>Private Medical and Dental insurance<br>On-site parking<br>Excellent and on-going training programme<br>Opportunity for growth and development within the company<br>Key Responsibilities:<br>Ensure compliance with site permits and waste acceptance regulations.<br>Oversee safe operation of the site and waste handling.<br>Monitor quality and compliance, and submit non-conformance reports and invoices on time.<br>Ensure all waste that are processed/repacked have an associated paperwork trail so they can be traced from cradle to grave.<br>Supervision and support for the Site and Mobile Chemist team.<br>Support and have responsibility over P&L on site.<br>Requirements:<br>Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field.<br>Previous experience as a Site Chemist, Lab Analyst, Mobile Chemist, or similar.<br>Experience in the Hazardous Waste Management industry.<br>Leadership experience is essential.<br>Forklift Licence desirable, but not essential (Training Provided).<br>WR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
