You'll remain close to the codebase, designing and building modern applications, while also leading, mentoring, and developing a mature team of engineers.<br>You'll play a key role in shaping technical direction, driving best practices, and ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions are delivered globally. Alongside dedicated time for out-and-out coding, you'll take ownership of team performance, support career development, and maintain a strong engineering culture.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Hands-on development using C# .NET, Angular, AWS and NoSQL<br>Lead and mentor a team of developers (1-to-1s, coaching, performance support, managerial admin)<br>Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and delivery standards<br>Support Agile delivery and continuous improvement<br>Contribute to architectural decisions and system design<br>Requirements<br>Strong experience with C# ASP.NET / .NET (9/10)<br>AWS (Azure may be considered)<br>TypeScript & Angular (18+)<br>NoSQL databases<br>Proven experience in a technical leadership in a lead developer role (or demonstratable experience leading others in a Senior position)<br>Experience mentoring developers and conducting 1-to-1s<br>Strong experience working in Agile environments<br>Desirable Skills<br>Messaging systems (RabbitMQ / MassTransit)<br>Experience with TDD / DDD principles<br>Microservices architecture<br>Maths or Physics background<br>The Company<br>The company is a leading software development firm creating nuanced solutions for the manufacturing sector.
