Group Overview The TP ICAP Group is a world leading provider of market infrastructure.<br><br>Make your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position.<br><br>Our purpose is to provide clients with access to global financial and commodities markets, improving price discovery, liquidity, and distribution of data, through responsible and innovative solutions.<br><br>Through our people and technology, we connect clients to superior liquidity and data solutions.<br><br>The Group is home to a stable of premium brands.<br><br>Collectively, TP ICAP is the largest interdealer broker in the world by revenue, the number one Energy & Commodities broker in the world, the world's leading provider of OTC data, and an award winning all-to-all trading platform.<br><br>Founded in London in 1866, the Group operates from more than 60 offices in 27 countries.<br><br>We are 5,200 people strong.<br><br>We work as one to achieve our vision of being the world's most trusted, innovative, liquidity and data solutions specialist.<br><br>Role Overview Liquidnet is seeking an exceptional and experienced developer to join the Internal Tools team.<br><br>This experienced individual has a proven track record of developing high quality software in a world-class financial services organization, preferably within an electronic trading environment.<br><br>We are looking for an outstanding candidate to be a part of an agile development team delivering client-facing trading algorithms and related services.<br><br>This person will contribute to the delivery of global trading algorithms while maintaining and enhancing the supporting trading technologies.<br><br>Role Responsibilities Hands-on design and development of tools for driving Liquidnet's global equity business.<br><br>Partner with Product, Product Support, and Trading Desk in delivering rapid client customizations and fast lane solutions.<br><br>Contribute to all areas of the software development lifecycle including design, development, integration, automated testing, optimization, and maintenance.<br><br>Develop innovative solutions in a strategic, pragmatic way.<br><br>Contribute to all areas of team performance including daily scrums and after-action reviews.<br><br>Serve as third-tier support for production issues and related support needs.<br><br>Keep current with industry trends and incorporates emerging best practices into everyday work.<br><br>Experience / Competencies: BS/BA degree or higher in Computer Science and/or Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience Experience developing applications with Java and web technologies.<br><br>Knowledge of the Spring framework.<br><br>Good understanding of multithreaded and network programming concepts.<br><br>Knowledge of PL SQL (Oracle).<br><br>Expert proficiency with computer technologies including Java, Linux, and OO Design with a focus on performance, re-usability, test automation and flexibility for customizations.<br><br>Experience with messaging middleware like Solace and knowledge of event-driven (pub/sub) programming models.<br><br>Strategic thinking, analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.<br><br>Ability to work as part of a team, communicate effectively at all organizational levels with written and verbal communication skills.<br><br>Desired but not required: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript, and the Angular framework.<br><br>Band & Level; Professional, 5 Not The Perfect Fit?
