<p>Job Description</p><br>Increase your chances of an interview by reading the following overview of this role before making an application.<br><p>IT Support Engineer / Multi-Site Support TechnicianLocation: Field-based across regional client sites + office supportSalary: Up to £31,000 + mileage + benefitsType: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Hemel Hempstead</p><p>The Opportunity</p><p>A growing Managed Service Provider is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their technical team, supporting a range of multi-site customers across the region.</p><p>This role would suit someone with solid 1st / 2nd line experience who enjoys a mix of remote support, site visits and hands-on technical work. You'll support end users, maintain client infrastructure, and play a key role in delivering a high level of customer service.</p><p>A great opportunity for someone looking to develop their technical skills within a varied MSP environment.</p><p>Key ResponsibilitiesSupport & Service Desk</p><ul><li>Provide 1st / 2nd line support across hardware, software and user issues</li><li>Log, manage and resolve tickets within agreed SLAs</li><li>Escalate more complex issues where required</li><li>Deliver clear updates and excellent customer communication throughout</li></ul><p>On-Site Client Support</p><ul><li>Visit customer sites for scheduled support, installs and issue resolution</li><li>Support users face-to-face with desktop, laptop and peripheral issues</li><li>Assist with workstation setups, moves and equipment rollouts</li><li>Build positive working relationships with end users and key contacts</li></ul><p>Infrastructure Support</p><ul><li>Assist in supporting servers, backups and core network infrastructure</li><li>Manage Active Directory user accounts, permissions and password resets</li><li>Support Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Teams and SharePoint basics</li><li>Help maintain Wi-Fi, printers, switches and connectivity services</li></ul><p>Technical Environment</p><ul><li>Windows 10 / 11</li><li>Microsoft 365</li><li>Active Directory</li><li>Azure / Entra ID (basic exposure)</li><li>Intune (desirable)</li><li>Printers / Peripherals</li><li>Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi)</li><li>Backup solutions</li><li>Ticketing systems</li></ul><p>What We're Looking For</p><ul><li>Previous experience in a 1st / 2nd line IT support role</li><li>MSP or multi-site support experience highly desirable</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills</li><li>Organised, reliable and able to manage workload independently</li><li>Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites</li><li>Keen to learn and progress technically</li></ul><p>What's on Offer</p><ul><li>Salary up to £31,000</li><li>Mileage / travel expenses</li><li>Ongoing training and development</li><li>Varied role with exposure to multiple environments</li><li>Friendly and supportive technical team</li><li>Clear progression routes into 2nd / 3rd line roles</li></ul><p>Oscar Associates (UK) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. xwzovoh </p><p>To understand more about what we do with your data please review our privacy policy in the privacy section of the Oscar website.</p>
