Interim Management Accountant

Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a high-growth technology business , part of a wider group , who are seeking to appoint an experienced Interim Management Accountant to join the finance team.<br><br>Find out more about this role by reading the information below, then apply to be considered.<br>Based in Manchester city centre , you will operate on a hybrid basis with 1 day per week in the office (you will be more office based during handover period).<br>This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Management Accountant who is immediately or short-term available, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving technology environment.<br><br>Salary / benefits:<br><br>£60,000 salary<br>Hybrid working model (1 day per week in the Manchester city centre office)<br>Exposure to a growing tech business within a larger group structure<br><br>Job Duties:<br><br>Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts<br>Ownership of the month-end close process , including journals and accruals<br>Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations<br>Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis<br>Support group reporting requirements and wider finance projects<br>Partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight<br>Assist with audit preparation and year-end processes where required<br>Support continuous improvement of financial processes and controls<br><br>Who will I report into? xwzovoh <br><br>Finance leadership within the group structure (e.g. Financial Controller / Group Finance Team)<br><br>When will interviews be taking place?<br><br>Interviews will be arranged early May.<br><br>Ideal Experience:<br><br>Qualified or qualified-by-experience accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)<br>Proven experience in a Management Accountant role<br>Previous exposure to a technology, SaaS, or high-growth environment desirable<br>Strong Excel skills and confidence handling large data sets<br>Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage non-finance stakeholders<br>Proactive, organised and comfortable working in an interim capacity
