<p><strong>Instrumentation Engineer (Offshore Systems)</strong></p><p> London (full-time)</p><p> £60,000 + equity</p><p> Start date: 1–2 months</p><p><br><br>Hit Apply below to send your application for consideration Ensure that your CV is up to date, and that you have read the job specs first.<br></p><p>MNRecruit is delighted to partner with Samudra Oceans</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About Samudra Oceans</strong></p><p>Samudra Oceans is a fast-growing startup building robotics, sensing, and environmental monitoring systems for offshore and maritime industries.</p><p>Working at the intersection of offshore infrastructure, marine technology, and environmental intelligence, the company develops systems that help operators monitor and manage environmental impact in real time.</p><p>This is a highly hands-on, foundational engineering role within an ambitious early-stage team.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>We are looking for an Instrumentation, Electronics, or Controls Engineer with experience in offshore, maritime, subsea, or offshore energy environments.</p><p>This role is ideal for someone comfortable working across:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>instrumentation and sensing systems</li><li>embedded or electronic hardware</li><li>offshore deployment environments</li><li>systems integration and field engineering</li></ul><p><br></p><p>The successful candidate will combine strong technical capability with practical understanding of offshore industry operations and vendors.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and integrate sensing, instrumentation, and monitoring systems</li><li>Support hardware deployment in offshore and marine environments</li><li>Work across electronics, controls, telemetry, and systems integration</li><li>Contribute to product development from prototype through deployment</li><li>Interface with offshore operators, suppliers, and technical partners</li><li>Help shape engineering processes within an early-stage startup</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Background in instrumentation, electronics, controls, embedded systems, or related engineering discipline</li><li>Experience within offshore energy, subsea, maritime, shipping, or offshore wind sectors</li><li>Familiarity with offshore systems, sensors, telemetry, PLC/SCADA, or industrial monitoring environments</li><li>Comfortable working in hands-on engineering environments</li><li>Able to operate effectively within a fast-moving startup</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Desirable</strong></p><ul><li>Offshore instrumentation or subsea systems experience</li><li>Exposure to marine robotics, sensing, or environmental monitoring technologies</li><li>Existing network xwzovoh within offshore/maritime industries</li><li>Familiarity with industry events such as ADIPEC, Offshore Europe, OTC, etc.</li><li>Experience working with offshore vendors, operators, or EPCs</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Profile</strong></p><p>We are particularly interested in candidates who are:</p><ul><li>Practical and hands-on</li><li>Commercially aware</li><li>Comfortable working with ambiguity and ownership</li><li>Excited by early-stage technology development</li><li>Interested in applying engineering skills to real-world offshore challenges</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why Join?</strong></p><ul><li>Foundational role with significant ownership</li><li>Opportunity to shape real-world offshore technology products</li><li>Exposure to cutting-edge marine sensing and robotics systems</li><li>Equity participation in a high-growth startup</li></ul>
