This isn’t a “watch and learn” role. This is sleeves rolled up, strip it down, fix it, improve it, put it back into production and make it run better than before.</p><p><br></p><p>If you enjoy solving problems on the shop floor and taking pride in keeping production moving, this will suit you.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></p><ul><li>Planned preventative maintenance on injection mould tools</li><li>Stripping, cleaning, inspecting, repairing and rebuilding tools</li><li>Diagnosing tooling issues that are affecting production</li><li>Supporting tool changeovers to keep downtime low</li><li>Recording work accurately in the maintenance system</li><li>Working safely and properly (no shortcuts)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What You Need (Non-Negotiables)</strong></p><ul><li>Solid experience in injection mould tool maintenance or toolmaking support</li><li>Strong mechanical ability — you understand how mould tools actually work</li><li>Able to read and interpret engineering drawings without panic</li><li>Nice to Have (But Not Essential)</li><li>Toolmaking or mechanical engineering qualification</li><li>Experience with glass-filled or high-wear materials</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Get</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience</li><li>A stable, long-term role in an established manufacturing environment</li><li>Ongoing training and development</li><li>A team that values competence over ego</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What You Might Not Like</strong></p><ul><li>It’s hands-on.
