Job description
<p>Our client, a well-established semi-public sector organisation focused on mission-critical data centre operations, is seeking an experienced <strong>Infrastructure Engineer</strong> to join their growing team in the Greater London area. This role will focus on the support, monitoring, and optimisation of critical data centre infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on <strong>DCIM platforms</strong> and operational resilience.</p><p><br><br>Please ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely.<br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Support and administer DCIM platforms and infrastructure monitoring tools</li><li>Monitor power, cooling, environmental, and capacity metrics across data centres</li><li>Assist with infrastructure planning, asset management, and operational improvements</li><li>Support data centre changes, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance activities</li><li>Work closely with facilities, operations, and technical teams to maintain high availability</li><li>Produce technical documentation and support incident resolution activities</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Experience working within enterprise or colocation data centre environments</li><li>Strong knowledge of DCIM platforms such as Schneider EcoStruxure, Nlyte, Sunbird, or similar</li><li>Understanding of critical infrastructure including power, cooling, cabling, and environmental monitoring</li><li>Familiarity with IT infrastructure xwzovoh including servers, storage, and networking</li><li>Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills</li><li>Experience within regulated or highly governed environments and ITIL awareness would be beneficial</li></ul><p><br></p><p>This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected organisation operating within a highly critical infrastructure environment, offering strong long-term career prospects and exposure to large-scale data centre operations.</p>
