You know how to manage a small team.</p><p><br></p><p>You like the idea of working on Projects and Quality matters to you.</p><p>You are a good team player.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>THE ROLE</strong></p><p><br></p><p>You will be part of the HVAC Systems engineering team, your activities will comprise:</p><p><br></p><p>System design and system integration into overall Projects design:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Review and update the system documentation, as well as formulate the mechanical, electrical, nuclear safety, and control logic requirements in compliance with the engineering rules, methodologies, quality processes, and tools.</li><li>Analyse and verification of input data, requirements, and lessons learnt from other stations.</li><li>Sizing of components e.g. pumps, pipework, fans, tanks, performing thermal-hydraulic calculation and modelling with in-house or commercial tools.</li><li>Support to procurement team in formulation of technical specification and supplier surveillance.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Modification and configuration management:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Manage requests for modifications to system(s) checking their applicability.</li><li>Develop and present technical solutions suitable for all impacted disciplines that support design stability strategy.</li><li>Solve technically challenging and multi-disciplinary open points in a timely pro-active manner.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>I&C design of systems including:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Apply client’s engineering rules applicable for I&C design e.g. for platform allocation.</li><li>Define the I&C functional requirements cascading the requirements from key safety inputs to ensure the safety case is respected.</li><li>Use the I&C tools available, define the I&C logic, write the test procedure and test the control, define the HMI in the Control Room.</li><li>Produce and update the I&C parts of the System Design Manual.</li><li>Perform technical peer reviews of I&C documents produced by other engineers in the team.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Participation in the preparation of commissioning strategy of systems:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Attend kick-off meetings and maturity reviews.</li><li>Produce updated documentation and/or redlines as required.</li><li>Support the commissioning teams with system inputs needed for the production of the documentation required for the commissioning sequence.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>A proactive and positive engagement with all stakeholders around the HVAC systems is needed to ensure the delivery of a product meeting the requirements set by all disciplines (layout, civil, hazard, nuclear safety, environment, configuration management, procurement etc.).</p><p><br></p><p>During the first months, you can count on the KURY Team to assist you all along your projects.</p><p>This experience will give you the opportunity to move on to other projects in the medium term:you will tackle varied but complementary projects, studies and technical topics. Your understanding of the technical and environmental challenges will allow you to take on complex and critical transversal studies.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Relevant experience in the nuclear industry.</li><li>Ability to effectively manage own workload in order to produce high-quality documents and respect deadlines.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: ability to communicate clearly and to deal with different stakeholders, confident in communicating within an international environment and proactive in developing positive working relations with others within the project.</li><li>Continuously looking for opportunities to improve quality of engineering studies and the subsequent documentation produced.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>DESIRABLE SKILLS</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Knowledge of EPR system design principles, Instrumentation and Control architecture and Safety Classification.</li><li>Experience working on an operating plant or on an industrial site. xwzovoh </li><li>French-speaking and ability to write technical documents in French would be an advantage.</li></ul>
