This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Sous Chef to work in a busy, quality-driven environment, producing fresh, seasonal dishes for both hotel guests and a popular restaurant.<br><br>The Role<br>As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to support the day-to-day running of the kitchen. This Sous Chef position offers a great balance of leadership, creativity, and hands-on cooking, making it ideal for a strong Senior Chef de Partie ready to step up or an experienced Sous Chef looking for a stable, long-term role.<br><br>The Sous Chef will play a key part in maintaining high standards, driving consistency, and supporting the development of the brigade.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br>Support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations.<br>Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.<br>Lead the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence.<br>Assist with menu development using fresh, seasonal produce.<br>Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs within the brigade.<br>Ensure all food hygiene, health & safety, and compliance standards are met.<br>Manage stock control, ordering, and minimising waste.<br><br>Key Requirements<br>Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie.<br>Background in fresh food kitchens, ideally within hotels or quality restaurants.<br>Strong leadership and communication skills.<br>Passion for high-quality food and attention to detail.<br>Ability to work well under pressure in a busy service environment.<br>Good understanding of kitchen financials, including GP and stock control.<br><br>The Package<br>Salary up to £35,000 per annum.<br>Live-in accommodation available at £78 per week.<br>Opportunity to work in a stunning Lake District location.<br>Supportive team environment with career development opportunities.<br><br>Apply Now<br>If you are a dedicated Sous Chef looking for your next opportunity in a beautiful setting, apply today. xwzovoh <br><br>CVs in English (Word or PDF format only).
