Apply today to work as an HGV Class 1 Driver for our client who has one of the biggest names within the HGV industry.<br><br>Is this the next step in your career Find out if you are the right candidate by reading through the complete overview below.<br><br>With the latest vehicles on the market, this gives you the best HGV experience and a top range vehicle to work with!<br><br>Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work Days in Barnsley.<br><br>Consolidated pay rates £16.25 - £23.99 per hour.<br><br>This role offers ad hoc work available with various start times.<br><br>Your Time at Work<br><br>As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be responsible for:<br><br>- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness<br>- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.<br>- Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.<br><br>Our Perfect Worker<br><br>Our perfect worker will have excellent communication skills and be able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.<br><br>Applicants will comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
