Health & Safety Coordinator - Belfast

Fantastic opportunity for an individual to become Health & Safety Co-ordinator, joining a thriving Food Retail Services / FMCG company (Fantastic company, with multi billion turnover).<br><br>Find out exactly what skills, experience, and qualifications you will need to succeed in this role before applying below.<br><br>This company places immense value on their staff, and is one of the best places for an individual to work in.<br><br>This role is site based and covers multiple sites across Belfast.<br><br>Salary Negotiable + 10% Bonus & Growth Opportunities + other additional benefits from a fantastic company Responsibilities Occupational Health & Safety Management Maintain MNI's OHSMS in line with current legislation.<br><br>Embed H&S best practices across all operations.<br><br>Ensure legal compliance across all sites.<br><br>Provide ongoing advice on legislative requirements.<br><br>Drive continuous improvement to support a "best in town" approach.<br><br>Incident, Accident & Claims Management Manage incident/accident reporting, investigation, and database.<br><br>Oversee insurance claims across all locations.<br><br>Implement improvements to reduce claim risk.<br><br>Produce monthly KPI and claims reports.<br><br>Risk Assessment, Auditing & Compliance Conduct site audits in line with the audit schedule.<br><br>Ensure completion of KPIs, risk assessments, and H&S records.<br><br>Support sites in meeting safety performance targets.<br><br>Ensure Safe Systems of Work are implemented and followed.<br><br>Operational Support & Implementation Support sites in maintaining OHSMS and completing action plans.<br><br>Assist Property Manager with statutory compliance, maintenance, and audits.<br><br>Support HR with fitness-for-work and employee risk assessments.<br><br>Training, Communication & Culture Support delivery of H&S training.<br><br>Ensure completion of mandatory training.<br><br>Promote strong H&S communication and awareness across MNI.<br><br>What We're Looking For H&S degree or NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards).<br><br>Experience in retail or wholesale environments.<br><br>Experience managing H&S systems (e.g.<br><br>OHSAS 18001 or similar).<br><br>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.<br><br>Excellent organisation, planning, and attention to detail.<br><br>Ability to prioritise, work independently, and make risk-based decisions.<br><br>High integrity and confidentiality.<br><br>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).<br><br>Full UK/NI driving licence.<br><br>Nice to Have Training qualifications (e.g.<br><br>Manual Handling, Fire Safety).<br><br>IOSH membership. xwzovoh <br><br>For further information on this opportunity, or any other jobs in Belfast or wider Northern Ireland, please apply via the link below or contact Jack Groves via Vanrath.<br><br>Skills: HSE Manager Health Safety and Environmental Manager H&S SHEQ Health & Safety Manager Retail Benefits: Fantastic Benefits Package<br>TPBN1_NI
