This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high-end hospitality environment delivering exceptional pastry offerings for both day-to-day service and a wide range of events from intimate gatherings to weddings and large-scale functions.<br>As Head Pastry Chef, you will oversee the pastry section, creating both classic and contemporary desserts, artisan breads, pastries, and bespoke cakes to an exceptional standard.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Lead and manage the pastry section, overseeing daily kitchen operations<br>Deliver outstanding pastry creations for high-profile events and prestigious occasions<br><br>Develop innovative and high-quality desserts, pastries, breads, and baked goods<br><br>Train, mentor, and inspire the pastry team to consistently achieve excellence<br><br>Work closely with the Head Chef and Hospitality Manager on menu development and event planning<br><br>Create new recipes and concepts for fine dining and retail-style café offerings<br><br>Manage stock control, ordering, and kitchen budgets effectively<br><br>Adapt menus and recipes to accommodate dietary requirements, including gluten-free and sugar-free options<br><br>Working Hours : 40 hours per week , 5 days out of 7<br>About You<br>Proven experience in a senior pastry role, ideally within fine dining, luxury hospitality, or a 5-star environment<br><br>Passionate about pastry, baking, and culinary innovation<br><br>Strong leadership xwzovoh and team management abilities<br><br>Highly creative with exceptional attention to detail<br><br>Excellent organisational and time management skills<br><br>Relevant pastry or culinary qualifications preferred<br><br>Experience within high-end contract catering or hospitality environments would be advantageous<br><br>Benefits<br>Employee Assistance Programme<br><br>Life assurance (2x salary)<br><br>Recognition and reward schemes<br><br>Birthday day off<br><br>Referral bonus scheme<br><br>Interested?
