<p><strong>Head of Embedded Systems</strong></p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Cambridge</p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> Up to £95,000 depending on experience (some flexibility for the right candidate)</p><p><br><br>Before applying for this role, please read the following information about this opportunity found below.<br></p><p>We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Embedded Systems to join and lead embedded/electronics development for IoT products at an innovative Cambridge startup, managing a small team (2 engineers) while remaining hands-on with hardware and product development.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key skills & Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>8+ years embedded / electronics engineering experience</li><li>Hands-on PCB design – schematic capture, layout, prototyping & bench testing</li><li>Embedded systems / IoT hardware development</li><li>Strong hardware debugging (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal analysis tools)</li><li>Process improvement / continuous improvement within engineering or production</li><li>Test jig design, component selection & PCB diagnostics</li><li>Working with multidisciplinary teams (firmware, mechanical, software)</li><li>Experience managing or mentoring a small engineering team</li><li>Exposure to manufacturing partners / NPI / product release</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Not purely hands-on, this is for someone who can get into the detail and set standards whilst building process and getting the best out of the people around them.</p><p><br></p><p>This role is based on-site in Cambridge and will involve international travel.</p><p><br></p><p>If you are interested in this opportunity for a <strong>Head of Embedded Systems</strong>, then please apply today! xwzovoh </p><p><br></p><p>Unfortunately, there is no sponsorship opportunity with this role.</p>
