<p>Job Description</p><br>Read the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required.<br><p>Head of Commercial</p><p>Location: GlasgowContract Type: Ongoing ContractSalary: up to £700 p/day (Inside IR35)</p><p>We are recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Head of Commercial to lead commercial strategy, contract management, and financial performance across the organisation.</p><p>This senior role will provide commercial leadership across contracts, supply chain relationships, and governance, ensuring strong margin performance, effective risk management, and successful delivery aligned with business objectives.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Lead contract strategy, negotiation, and execution across project-based and resource-based arrangements</li><li>Develop and deliver the commercial strategy to achieve target margins across the portfolio</li><li>Oversee supply chain performance and commercial alignment</li><li>Act as final reviewer for pricing and commercial submissions prior to governance approval</li><li>Lead commercial governance and ensure contractual compliance</li><li>Work closely with Finance on monthly P&L reporting and profit performance</li><li>Act as the senior escalation point for complex commercial and contractual issues</li><li>Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, leading commercial discussions and reviews</li></ul><p>About the Candidate</p><p>Our client is seeking a commercially astute leader with strong experience in contract negotiation, governance, and senior stakeholder engagement. xwzovoh You will be confident operating at leadership level, balancing commercial control with collaborative delivery in a complex project environment.</p><p>To apply for this Head of Commercial position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.</p>
