Head Chef – Education Catering | West London<br><br>Apply fast, check the full description by scrolling below to find out the full requirements for this role.<br>Berkeley Scott the UK's leading hospitality agency is recruiting a Head Chef for one of our education clients in West London.<br>This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a busy college kitchen delivering fresh, high-quality food in a well-equipped environment. You'll manage the catering team, maintain excellent food standards, and ensure full compliance with Food Safety regulations.<br>Hours and Renumeration<br>Monday to Friday<br>7am – 3pm<br>Temp-to-perm opportunity with trial period<br>£19-£20 per hour (please note that the salary is dependent on experience)<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Lead and manage the catering operation<br>Prepare fresh meals using standardised recipes<br>Maintain Food & Health Safety standards and complete required paperwork<br>Manage stock control and food ordering<br>Ensure timely meal service across the site<br>Support daily operations, budgets, and inventory management<br>Requirements<br>Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child Workforce)<br>Right to Work in the UK<br>2 employment references<br>Minimum 1 years' experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager in a similar environment<br>Level 3 Food Safety Certificate and relevant Food Safety qualifications<br>Strong communication and IT skills<br>Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills<br>Benefits<br>Join an award-winning agency with an outstanding national reputation<br>Weekends off<br>Overtime available for extra hours<br>£50 Amazon voucher through our referral scheme (after 10 shifts completed)<br>Flexible ongoing work opportunities<br>Potential permanent role within a school or healthcare setting<br>Interested?
