Our client is on the hunt for a Head Chef with sharp kitchen instincts, a passion for top-tier food, and the leadership to match. Youll run a smooth, high-performing kitchen, delivering standout dishes at pace, while spotting opportunities to improve, develop talent, and drive results. From rota planning to stock control and team communication, youve got the time management and commercial focus to hit every target.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team, creating a positive and high-performing culture
Deliver exceptional food quality, consistency and presentation across every service
Manage day-to-day kitchen operations to ensure smooth, efficient service delivery
Plan rotas and labour schedules in line with business needs and targets
Control stock ordering, inventory and supplier relationships to minimise waste and maximise profitability
Monitor food costs, GP targets and kitchen budgets with a strong commercial focus
Ensure all food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards are maintained and fully compliant
Train, coach and support team members, identifying talent and encouraging development opportunities
Drive performance through clear communication, xwzovoh feedback and accountability
Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and enhance the guest experience
Work collaboratively with management teams to achieve business objectives and operational goals
Lead by example during service, maintaining energy, standards and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 plus tronc and company benefits Location: Manchester
