Head Chef Boutique Hotel, Southside Glasgow<br><br>Is this the role you are looking for If so read on for more details, and make sure to apply today.<br>We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen operation within our stylish boutique hotel located in the Southside of Glasgow. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing restaurant service, events and seasonal outdoor dining.<br>Working closely with the General Manager, the successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of a small kitchen team, ensuring consistently high standards across all food offerings including restaurant dining, private events and garden food service.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Lead, motivate and develop a small kitchen team through hands-on management<br>Oversee all food preparation and service for:<br>Hotel restaurant<br>Private dining and banqueting events<br>Outdoor/garden food service<br>Manage and coordinate event bookings from a kitchen and operational perspective<br>Design seasonal menus with a focus on quality, presentation and profitability<br>Maintain high standards of food hygiene, health & safety and kitchen cleanliness<br>Control stock, ordering, GP margins and kitchen costs<br>Work collaboratively with front of house and management teams to ensure smooth service delivery<br>Ensure consistency and efficiency during busy service periods and events<br>Requirements<br>Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef within a hotel, premium restaurant or events venue<br>Strong banqueting and events experience is essential<br>Proven ability to lead a small team in a hands-on operational role<br>Experience managing multiple food outlets/service styles simultaneously<br>Excellent organisational and communication skills<br>Strong understanding of stock control, food xwzovoh cost management and kitchen administration<br>Passion for fresh, high-quality food and excellent customer experience<br>Flexible approach to working hours, mainly evenings and weekends<br>What We Offer<br>Opportunity to shape and develop menus within a growing boutique hotel<br>Creative input within the kitchen operation<br>Supportive and collaborative working environment<br>Competitive salary based on experience<br>Staff benefits and company discounts<br>If you are an ambitious chef looking for a varied and rewarding role within a unique hospitality setting, we would love to hear from you.
