Temporary Grants Manager<br><br>Take the next step in your career now, scroll down to read the full role description and make your application.<br> <strong>Start:</strong> ASAP<br> <strong>Contract:</strong> Temporary<br> <strong>Location:</strong> Central Londo<br> <strong>Hybrid working:</strong> 1–2 days per week in the office<br> <strong>Rate:</strong> £22.15 per hour<br> An established funding organisation is seeking an experienced <strong>Temporary Grants Manager</strong> to support a <strong>busy international research funding programme</strong> during a peak delivery period.<br> This assignment will focus on the <strong>end‑to‑end management of grants for individual applicants</strong>, with particular responsibility for <strong>peer review and assessment activity</strong> across an international scheme.<br> Key responsibilities<ul><li>Managing grants through the full lifecycle, from call launch to award, monitoring and close‑down</li><li>Acting as the main point of contact for applicants, reviewers and internal stakeholders</li><li>Identifying, recruiting and coordinating <strong>external peer reviewers</strong></li><li>Supporting assessment panels and decision‑making processes, including preparation of documentation and accurate record keeping</li><li>Carrying out eligibility checks and managing assessment workflows to agreed standards</li><li>Managing post‑award administration, including grant changes, reporting and final reconciliation</li><li>Maintaining high‑quality data, records and reporting during a high‑volume period</li></ul>Essential experience<ul><li>Proven experience delivering <strong>full‑cycle grants management</strong> or research funding programmes</li><li>Experience working closely with <strong>peer reviewers, panels or assessment committees</strong></li><li>Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail</li><li>Confident communicator able to work with senior stakeholders and international applicants</li><li>Comfortable operating at pace during busy funding cycles</li> xwzovoh </ul>Highly desirable<ul><li>A <strong>science or research background</strong></li><li>Experience using <strong>FlexiGrant</strong></li><li>Strong <strong>data analysis and reporting skills</strong></li></ul>This role would suit an experienced grants professional who enjoys structured delivery, robust assessment processes and contributing to high‑quality international research funding in a fast‑moving environment.<br>We want you to have every opportunity to demonstrate your skills, ability and potential; please contact us if you require any assistance or adjustment so that we can help with making the application process work for you.
