<p>A growing engineering business delivering process solutions into the dairy, food & beverage industries is looking to appoint a junior to mid-level Process Design Engineer to support the development of process systems and technical solutions across a range of customer projects.</p><p><br><br>Apply promptly! A high volume of applicants is expected for the role as detailed below, do not wait to send your CV.<br></p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for a Chemical or Process Engineering graduate with some industry design experience looking to develop their career within process design, working closely with experienced engineers across the full project lifecycle.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Process Design Engineer</strong></p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> £30,000 - £38,000</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Somerset</p><p>Office-Based + UK Travel (25%)</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Process Design Engineer Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Develop process flow diagrams and P&IDs using AutoCAD / Autodesk software</li><li>Support the creation of process descriptions and technical documentation</li><li>Assist with specifications for process equipment including pumps, valves, heat exchangers and piping systems</li><li>Work closely with customers and internal engineering teams to help define process requirements</li><li>Support technical proposals and quotation activities</li><li>Participate in design reviews and technical discussions with customers</li><li>Support HAZOP, HACCP and design risk assessments</li><li>Collaborate with mechanical design, automation and project delivery teams</li><li>Gain exposure across the full project lifecycle including commissioning and customer site activities</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Process Design Engineer Requirements:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Degree, HNC or HND in Chemical or Process Engineering</li><li>1–3 years’ industry experience within process engineering, process design or a related engineering environment</li><li>Experience developing or working with P&IDs and process flow diagrams</li><li>Familiarity with AutoCAD or Autodesk Plant software</li><li>Understanding of process equipment and fluid/process systems</li><li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills</li><li>Motivated xwzovoh to develop within a customer-focused engineering environment</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Additional Information:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Office-based role with regular UK travel to customer sites</li><li>Food, dairy or beverage industry experience would be beneficial, though candidates from broader process industries will also be considered</li><li>Opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers across design, installation and commissioning activities</li><li>Please note, sponsorship is not available for this position and applicants must have the right to work in the UK</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>If you’re interested, apply or get in touch directly at for a confidential chat</strong></p>
