You will also gain exposure to Prosthetic patients.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The role: </strong></p><p><br></p><p>As a Graduate Orthotist you will use your clinical skill and experience to contribute to the delivery of a first class Orthotic Clinical Service.</p><p><br></p><p>We are seeking a Graduate Orthotistwith broad-based experience who is looking for an opportunity to develop and contribute.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Supporting a caseload of clients with a wide range of complex conditions and recommending the best course of intervention.</li><li>Effectively communicating with informed patient consent, discussing the reasons for the prescription.</li><li>Providing counselling, advice, and support as necessary to maximise rehabilitation potential and to ensure understanding of condition.</li><li>Assessing, measuring, casting, fitting, supplying, reviewing, and adjusting orthoses as required.</li><li>Maintaining appropriate clinical notes and records.</li><li>Providing training in the field of Orthotics at all levels</li></ul><p><strong>What are we looking for? </strong></p><p><br></p><p>Essential skills and experience</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Qualified in Prosthetics/Orthotics</li><li>HCPC registration</li><li>Member of BAPO/ISPO (desirable)</li><li>Experience in a wide range of orthotic provision including paediatrics, orthopaedics, and footwear.</li><li>Able to prioritise and manage workload.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of communicating with colleagues at all levels.</li><li>Be able to manage difficult, challenging, and sensitive situations.</li><li>Good judgment and decision-making skills</li><li>Full UK Driving licence</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What can we offer you? </strong></p><ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>25 days holiday (rising with service)</li><li>Pension</li><li>Discounted shopping and leisure activities</li><li>On Demand Pay</li><li>Health cash plan</li><li>Cycle to work scheme.</li><li>Strong CPD programme, tailored to individual development needs. xwzovoh </li></ul><p><br></p><p>We are a supportive and committed company, with a focused team, dedicated to improving patient care.</p><p><br></p><p>If you feel you have the background to be considered for this Graduate Orthotist position, please apply now.</p>
