Full-Time Year 2 SEND Teaching Assistant

<p>Job Description</p><br>If you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description.<br><p>About the Role</p><p>Trust Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in the S36 area for a dedicated Year 2 SEND Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time, ongoing position starting as soon as possible.</p><p>You will be working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND in Year 2</li><li>Assist in delivering tailored learning activities</li><li>Support pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development</li><li>Help manage behaviour in line with school policies</li><li>Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Previous experience working with children with SEND, ideally in a primary school setting</li><li>A patient, caring, and proactive approach</li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills</li><li>Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)</li><li>Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain xwzovoh one)</li></ul><p>What We Offer</p><ul><li>Competitive rates of pay</li><li>Ongoing professional support from Trust Education</li><li>Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a child’s education</li><li>Potential for long-term placement</li></ul><p>If you are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and are available for an immediate start, we would love to hear from you.</p>
