<p><strong>Job Title: </strong>FPGA Engineer</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Stevenage – Hybrid - 3+ days on-site per week</p><p><strong>Role Type: </strong>Contract</p><p><strong>Duration</strong>: 12 months</p><p><strong>Rate: </strong>£80.00 – £90.00 per hour – Inside IR35</p><p><br><br>Read on to find out what you will need to succeed in this position, including skills, qualifications, and experience.<br></p><p>Our client, an established defence manufacturer, require an experienced FPGA Engineer to join their multi-disciplined team in Stevenage.</p><p><br></p><p>UK citizenship is mandatory to be able to clear the background checks and obtain SC clearance.</p><p>Current valid SC clearance would be an advantage.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What the role of the FPGA Engineer entails:</strong></p><p>The FPGA engineer would work closely with Systems, Hardware and Software teams to provide FPGA solutions and solve integration problems on complex systems.</p><ul><li>Generating complex FPGA architectures and design implementations (VHDL, Simulink etc), targeting Xilinx, Intel, Microsemi devices.</li><li>Verifying complex FPGA implementations using VHDL and System Verilog\UVM test-bench methodologies.</li><li>Using FPGA design toolsets and Mentor verification tools (QuestaSim & ModelSim).</li><li>Generating low-level software (C) to facilitate FPGA test and integration with the wider embedded system.</li><li>Configuring and Documenting designs to a high professional standard.</li><li>Working as part of a multidiscipline team to deliver complex FPGA based projects.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What experience you need to be the successful FPGA Engineer:</strong></p><ul><li>Ideally we are looking for candidates that are degree qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience in FPGA development. </li><li>Competent VHDL Language and Design Skills. xwzovoh </li><li>Competent Verification Skills using VHDL and SystemVerilog methodologies</li><li>A deep proven level of experience designing for Xilinx, Intel or Microsemi FPGAs</li><li>Experience of professionally configuring and documenting designs</li><li>Experience of working as part of a large multidiscipline team</li></ul><p><br></p><p>This really is a fantastic opportunity for a FPGA Engineer to progress their career.
