Date posted: 28 April 2026 Pay: £12.75 per hour Job Description: Overview We are seeking a skilled Forklift Counterbalance Driver and Reach Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team.<br><br>Please read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.<br><br>In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating counterbalance forklifts and reach trucks to efficiently handle materials, load and unload shipments, and support overall warehouse operations.<br><br>Your expertise will ensure the smooth flow of goods, maintain safety standards, and contribute to the timely fulfillment of orders.<br><br>The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.<br><br>Monday<br>- Friday 06:00<br>- 14:00 Duties Operate counterbalance forklifts and reach trucks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse environment.<br><br>Handle heavy lifting tasks safely, utilizing appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and clamp trucks.<br><br>Support shipping and receiving activities by preparing shipments, verifying orders, and ensuring proper documentation.<br><br>Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment in accordance with OSHA standards to maintain safety compliance.<br><br>Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment, cycle counts, and materials handling.<br><br>Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage layouts and improve operational workflows.<br><br>Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote a safe working environment.<br><br>Operate cranes or other heavy machinery as needed for construction or large-scale material handling projects.<br><br>Support warehouse management system updates and data entry related to inventory movements.<br><br>Qualifications Proven experience operating forklifts (counterbalance, reach trucks and PPT) in a warehouse or distribution setting.<br><br>Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, order picking, shipping & receiving procedures.<br><br>Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks.<br><br>Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations related to material handling equipment.<br><br>Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods.<br><br>Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and inventory management.<br><br>Basic knowledge of construction or materials handling is a plus.<br><br>If you are a motivated professional with a passion for safe and efficient warehouse operations, we encourage you to apply. xwzovoh <br><br>Join our team to contribute your skills toward maintaining a high-performing distribution center dedicated to excellence.<br><br>Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm Licence/Certification: Counterbalance licence (required) Reach truck licence (required) PPT licence (required)
