Flight Test Engineer

<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct integration testing of ATA 28 (Fuel Systems) and ATA 32 (Landing Gear) aircraft systems as part of an on-site engineering team in Filton.</li><li>Prepare for and support flight test activities, including planning, instrumentation checks, and test execution.</li><li>Produce clear, accurate, and structured technical flight test reports.</li><li>Perform data analysis on test results, including statistical assessments, signal processing, and data visualisation.</li><li>Diagnose issues, support fault-finding efforts, and assist with root-cause analysis.</li><li>Collaborate proactively with engineering, test operations, and stakeholder teams to communicate findings and recommendations.</li><li>Work effectively in a fast-paced, time-critical environment with shifting priorities.</li><li>Learn and apply new tools, techniques, and methodologies to support evolving test requirements.</li></ul><p><br><br>Find out if this opportunity is a good fit by reading all of the information that follows below.<br></p><p><strong>Required Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with aircraft systems or aerospace engineering environments.</li><li>Previous involvement in testing, validation, verification, or data-driven engineering work.</li><li>Hands-on experience with technical reporting and analysing engineering datasets.</li><li>Background in diagnostic or fault-finding activities.</li><li>Exposure to flight test, system integration testing, or similar environments (advantageous but not mandatory).</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Solid understanding of aircraft systems; familiarity with ATA 28/32 preferred but not essential.</li><li>Capacity to learn new processes and in-house developed tools</li><li>Ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic environment.</li><li>Advanced Excel skills for data handling and analysis.</li><li>Proficient technical report writing with attention to accuracy and clarity.</li><li>Strong analytical mindset with experience in statistics, Fourier transforms, and plotting. xwzovoh </li><li>Proficiency in Python or programming language for data processing and automation is a plus.</li></ul>
