<p>Job Description</p><br>Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.<br><p>Mid-level Microsoft Fabric BI Developer – Contract</p><p>£450 per day | Inside IR35 | Hybrid</p><p>The role</p><p>You’ll be joining a specialist engineering organisation working at the forefront of the space sector, supporting systems and programmes that quite literally operate beyond Earth.</p><p>They’re investing heavily in their data platform and need someone hands-on with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI to help bring structure, reliability, and clarity to how data is used across the business.</p><p>This isn’t a theory-heavy role or a “sit in meetings all day” position. It’s about getting stuck into the platform, improving data flows, and building reporting that engineers, finance teams, and operational staff actually rely on.</p><p>What you’ll be doing</p><ul><li>Working within Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse + Warehouse)</li><li>Building and maintaining data pipelines (ADF / Fabric)</li><li>Bringing data in from source systems (incl. ERP / SAP-type environments)</li><li>Creating clean, reliable data models for reporting</li><li>Developing Power BI reports and dashboards</li><li>Improving performance and structure of existing datasets</li><li>Supporting basic governance (RLS, access, workspace organisation)</li><li>Working xwzovoh with stakeholders to understand reporting needs</li></ul><p>What they’re looking for</p><ul><li>Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric</li><li>Solid Power BI skills</li><li>Experience with Azure Data Factory or Fabric pipelines</li><li>Good SQL</li><li>Experience working with structured business data (ERP / finance / ops)</li><li>Comfortable working in a hands-on, delivery-focused role</li></ul>
