Events Operations Manager Large-Scale London Venue<br><br>A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.<br>London<br>£40,000 £45,000 + benefits<br>We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Events Venue Manager to join a leading large-scale London venue, delivering a diverse programme of live events, corporate functions, exhibitions, and public experiences.<br>This is a venue-side role responsible for the safe, compliant, and seamless operational delivery of events from initial planning through to live execution and debrief.<br>The Role As Events Operations Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end operational planning and delivery of events, ensuring the highest standards of health & safety, licensing compliance, security management, and audience experience.<br>You will work closely with internal departments, promoters, production teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure all events are delivered safely, efficiently, and to an exceptional standard.<br>Key Responsibilities Lead operational planning and live delivery for a wide range of events<br>Develop and manage detailed event operational plans and timelines<br>Oversee all venue health & safety procedures and compliance standards<br>Produce and review event risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)<br>Manage venue licensing requirements and ensure full regulatory compliance<br>Coordinate security operations, stewarding, crowd management, and emergency procedures<br>Liaise with production teams regarding technical and logistical requirements<br>Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefs<br>Manage contractor and supplier relationships on-site including with the onsite catering team<br>Ensure smooth communication between all operational stakeholders<br>Support incident management and reporting where required<br>You will be an experienced operations professional with a strong background in live events, venues, or large-scale entertainment environments. xwzovoh <br>Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience in event operations within a venue, arena, stadium, or large-scale events environment<br>Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and best practice<br>Experience managing venue licensing and compliance requirements<br>Skilled in producing risk assessments and operational documentation<br>Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills<br>Calm under pressure with strong decision-making ability<br>Flexible approach to working evenings and weekends as required<br>Desirable IOSH or NEBOSH qualification<br>Experience working with local authorities and emergency services<br>First Aid qualification<br>Whats On Offer Salary of £40,000 £45,000 depending on experience<br>Opportunity to work at a high-profile London venue<br>Diverse and exciting event portfolio<br>Career progression opportunities within a growing organisation<br>Dynamic and collaborative working environment<br>To apply, please submit your CV and a short cover letter outlining your relevant experience.
