This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in fabrication, welding, or engineering manufacturing who can confidently review technical drawings, prepare accurate quotations, and support projects from enquiry through to production handover.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Review customer enquiries, drawings, and specifications</li><li>Produce accurate quotations for fabrication and engineering projects</li><li>Estimate material, labour, machining, finishing, and subcontract costs</li><li>Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing</li><li>Manage multiple quotations and prioritise urgent enquiries</li><li>Support project handover to production teams</li><li>Follow up quotations with customers where required</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience within fabrication, welding, or engineering manufacturing</li><li>Ability to read fabrication and engineering drawings</li><li>Good understanding of fabrication and workshop processes</li><li>Commercially aware with a practical and proactive mindset</li><li>Strong organisational and communication skills</li><li>Competent with Excel and general office software</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Desirable Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience within conveyors, material handling, architectural metalwork, or bespoke engineering manufacturing</li><li>Knowledge of laser cutting, folding, machining, or sheet metal processes</li><li>Experience with RADAN, Radquote, or WorkPLAN advantageous</li><li>CAD or estimating software experience beneficial</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Package Details:</strong></p><ul><li>Salary: £30,000 – £35,000</li><li>Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00</li><li>23 days holiday plus bank holidays</li><li>Pension scheme</li><li>Long-term progression opportunities</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>To Contact Direct:</strong></p><p><strong>Daniel Barnett</strong></p><p><strong>Senior Executive Consultant</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><br></p><p>At Aspion, our core values have been built around the importance of transparency, innovation, passion and collaboration.
