Estate Manager

<p>Job Description</p><br>All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.<br><p>We are working with an award-winning block management company, who are looking to hire an experienced Estate Manager to lead a state-of-the-art residential scheme in Watford. This role will play a key part in mobilising the scheme, you will be working alongside one of the UK's leading developers.</p><p>Hours: Monday - Friday, 08.30am to 17.00pm</p><p>Salary: £70,000 per annum</p><p>Duties:</p><ul><li>Manage and support the on-site team.</li><li>Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, including contractor relationships.</li><li>Ensure communal areas are presented to the highest standard.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections of communal areas, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and safety.</li><li>Manage contractors, approve and assess maintenance work, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.</li><li>Coordinate planned maintenance, ensuring timely execution to required standards.</li><li>Manage stock levels for day-to-day items and facilitate meter readings for communal utilities.</li><li>Conduct system tests, including emergency lighting, fire alarms, and lift emergency lines.</li><li>Arrange and follow up on reactive and planned maintenance.</li><li>Carry out minor repairs such as replacing bulbs, adjusting doors, and other small tasks.</li><li>Coordinate and follow up on emergency repairs.</li><li>Deliver excellent customer service to residents and visitors alike.</li></ul><p>Skills and Requirements:</p><ul><li>Exceptional time management and task prioritisation.</li><li>Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).</li><li>Proven experience managing prestigious residential developments or similar environments such as hospitality or armed forces.</li><li>Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring and developing teams. xwzovoh </li><li>Experience in mobilising a brand new site is preferred but not essential.</li></ul>
