<p>HSE Manager / Health & Safety Manager (Manufacturing)</p><p><br><br>Submit your CV and any additional required information after you have read this description by clicking on the application button.<br></p><p> Site-Based | Monday–Friday</p><p> Permanent Position</p><p> Reporting to: Factory Manager</p><p><br></p><p>We are currently recruiting for an experienced HSE Manager / Health & Safety Manager to lead all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) activities at a busy manufacturing site.</p><p><br></p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for a NEBOSH qualified HSE professional with experience in manufacturing environments who is passionate about driving health & safety improvements, regulatory compliance, and environmental performance.</p><p><br></p><p>You will play a key role in developing and maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, ensuring the site operates safely while promoting a strong safety-first culture across the organisation.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Lead and manage all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE / EHS / SHE) activities on site</li><li>Maintain and improve ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems</li><li>Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation and environmental regulations</li><li>Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, inspections and incident investigations</li><li>Manage chemical safety systems including COMAH, DSEAR and ATEX processes</li><li>Oversee contractor management and emergency preparedness procedures</li><li>Deliver and coordinate Health & Safety training, inductions and awareness programmes</li><li>Maintain safety documentation including safety statements, fire safety registers and training records</li><li>Manage environmental monitoring, waste management compliance and reporting</li><li>Prepare reports for the Environment Agency and other regulatory bodies</li><li>Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees to improve site safety performance</li><li>Support and develop the EHS Officer</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>NEBOSH Certificate or Diploma (essential) xwzovoh </li><li>Experience working as an HSE Manager, Health & Safety Manager, EHS Manager or SHE Manager</li><li>Manufacturing or industrial environment experience</li><li>Knowledge of UK Health & Safety and Environmental legislation</li><li>Experience with COMAH regulations and chemical management</li><li>Strong communication and organisational skills</li><li>Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office / IT systems</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Desirable</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Degree in Health & Safety or related discipline</li><li>Experience managing ISO management systems</li><li>Experience working with regulatory bodies or environmental reporting</li></ul>
