<p>We’re partnered with a globally recognised FMCG brand with a strong international footprint and a reputation for delivering high-quality products at scale.</p><p>As they continue to expand across EMEA, they are looking to appoint an experienced Engineering Manager to support manufacturing excellence, packaging performance, and new plant readiness across their external production network.</p><p><br><br>Read the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required.<br></p><p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p>This is a highly hands-on, regional role sitting at the intersection of engineering, packaging, and manufacturing operations. You’ll play a key role in ensuring production lines, packaging formats, and supplier processes are fully optimised, compliant, and delivering against performance and quality standards. The role offers strong exposure to plant start-ups, supplier qualification, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple international sites.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Support plant start-ups across EMEA, ensuring production and packaging meet required standards</li><li>Qualify and assess suppliers, co-packers, and bottlers across the region</li><li>Monitor and optimise filling line and process performance from initial trials through to ongoing production</li><li>Define and implement equipment specifications and packaging standards</li><li>Partner with OEMs and site teams on new equipment and production setups</li><li>Lead engineering projects across the region, driving consistency and best practice</li><li>Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures</li><li>Ensure standardisation of machine settings to maintain packaging quality</li><li>Support quality investigations and customer complaints, developing corrective action plans</li><li>Contribute to product and packaging data management (e.g. BOM inputs, system updates)</li><li>Provide cross-regional support and cover across the engineering team</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Degree-qualified in Engineering (or similar)</li><li>c. xwzovoh 10+ years’ experience within food & drink or FMCG manufacturing environments</li><li>Strong understanding of packaging formats, filling lines, and production processes</li><li>Experience working with co-packers, suppliers, and external manufacturing partners</li><li>Proven track record in plant start-ups, process optimisation, or equipment implementation</li><li>Comfortable operating in a regional, travel-heavy role</li><li>Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally</li><li>Hands-on, solutions-focused, and confident working in fast-paced environments</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why This Role?</strong></p><ul><li>High-impact role across a complex, international manufacturing network</li><li>Exposure to new plant launches and large-scale production environments</li><li>Opportunity to shape engineering standards and packaging performance across EMEA</li><li>Join a business with strong investment, innovation, and growth trajectory</li></ul>
