<p>Job Description</p><br>Interested in this role You can find all the relevant information in the description below.<br><p>Reed Technology is partnering with an innovative and highly respected organisation that designs and develops advanced scientific and engineering solutions used across global research and industrial sectors.</p><p>About the Role</p><p>As an Embedded Systems Engineer, will collaborate closely with software, hardware, and product teams to deliver reliable embedded solutions.</p><p>You will play a key role in the design, development, testing, and support of embedded software and hardware solutions.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>FPGA design, implementation, and verification using VHDL or Verilog, alongside embedded firmware development.</li><li>Developing low-level software, drivers and firmware for communication protocols and peripherals.</li><li>Execute system-level debugging, verification, and validation using appropriate tools. xwzovoh </li><li>Maintaining and enhancing legacy systems.</li></ul><p>What We’re Looking For</p><ul><li>Degree in Software Engineering or related disciplines</li><li>Strong experience with VHDL/Verilog and C/C++ in embedded systems</li><li>Hands-on FPGA development experience (e.g. Xilinx Vivado)</li><li>Experience working with USB interfaces, communication protocol and microprocessors ((e.g. ARM Cortex-M, 8051, AVR, PIC)</li><li>Understanding of RTOS or bare-metal development</li><li>Strong problem-solving and communication skills</li></ul><p>Benefits</p><ul><li>Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience</li><li>37.5-hour flexible working week</li><li>Early finish on Fridays</li><li>Hybrid working model (3 days office / 2 days remote)</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package (medical insurance, generous holidays allowance etc)</li></ul>
