<p><strong> Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer</strong></p><p> <strong>Horsham, West Sussex, United Kingdom</strong></p><p> <strong>Full-Time | Shift Pattern (4 on / 4 off – 2 Days & 2 Nights)</strong></p><p> Join a High-Performance Engineering Team</p><p><br><br>The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.<br></p><p>We are seeking a skilled <strong>Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer</strong> to play a vital role in maintaining and improving the performance of a highly automated industrial facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys fault-finding, and takes pride in keeping critical plant equipment running at peak efficiency.</p><p>You will be responsible for driving <strong>plant reliability, operational uptime, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives</strong>, while upholding exceptional standards of <strong>health & safety, compliance, and engineering excellence</strong>.</p><p><br></p><p> <strong>What You'll Be Doing</strong></p><p> Carrying out <strong>planned preventative maintenance (PPM)</strong> and reactive breakdown maintenance</p><p> Diagnosing and resolving faults across <strong>motors, sensors, relays, contactors, control panels, and PLC systems</strong></p><p> Supporting engineering improvement projects to enhance plant performance and reliability</p><p> Performing <strong>electrical and mechanical fault-finding</strong> on industrial equipment</p><p> Working with <strong>MCC panels, control systems, and instrumentation</strong> including temperature, pressure, and flow measurement devices</p><p> Reading and interpreting <strong>electrical schematics and technical drawings</strong></p><p> Assisting with PLC hardware troubleshooting (Siemens S7 experience highly desirable)</p><p> Promoting a strong <strong>safety-first culture</strong> and maintaining high housekeeping standards</p><p> Contributing to continuous operational excellence xwzovoh on shift</p><p><br></p><p> <strong>What We're Looking For</strong></p><p> HNC in <strong>Electrical / Electronic Engineering</strong> or equivalent qualification</p><p> Strong industrial / manufacturing / automated facility maintenance experience</p><p> Proven electrical fault-finding and diagnostics capability</p><p> Familiarity with <strong>PLC systems</strong> (Siemens S7 preferred, other systems considered)</p><p> Knowledge of <strong>motors, drives, MCCs, relays, sensors, and instrumentation systems</strong></p><p> Ability to work effectively in a rotating shift environment</p><p> BS7671 18th Edition qualification is advantageous</p>
