FM33268 Electrical Generation Engineer<br><br>If you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description.<br>- CHP Up to £50,000 (DOE) South of England Alecto Recruitment is working with a leading power generation and energy company who are seeking an Electrical Generation Engineer to support electrical maintenance, commissioning, and system optimisation across sites in the South of England.<br><br>Key Responsibilities & Tasks Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repair on generation assets and control systems.<br><br>Support commissioning, testing, and integration of new plant and facilities into operations.<br><br>Diagnose control system faults, including PLC logic and signal issues, and implement solutions.<br><br>Inspect, maintain, and operate LV/HV electrical equipment (subject to competency).<br><br>Upgrade and replace control systems and electrical components where required.<br><br>Support and develop Operations staff through training, guidance, and supervision.<br><br>Ensure compliance with company procedures, NICEIC standards, and H&S legislation.<br><br>Manage electrical projects, including scoping works and supporting project delivery.<br><br>Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and commissioning records.<br><br>Participate in call-out rota and provide technical support across sites.<br><br>Skills & Requirements Strong experience in electrical maintenance, control systems, and commissioning.<br><br>Experience with CHP, gas engines, and/or solar systems.<br><br>Knowledge of generator control systems (e.g.<br><br>CAT, MAN, MTU, etc).<br><br>Experience with electrical systems (12V DC<br>- 415V AC, 3-phase).<br><br>Proven fault finding and PLC diagnostic skills.<br><br>18th Edition and testing/inspection qualifications (2391 desirable).<br><br>HV AP/SAP (desirable).<br><br>Gas Safe (or willingness to obtain).<br><br>INDW To apply for this role please send your CV to or call ext 220 to discuss. xwzovoh <br><br>Equally if this role would not be of interest to you but may be suitable friend or colleague, we can offer paid referral fees for successful placements.
