<p><strong>(Junior) Electrical Design Engineer – Solar + BESS | London (3x p/w)</strong></p><p><br><br>Considering applying for this job Do not delay, scroll down and make your application as soon as possible to avoid missing out.<br></p><p>If you're looking for a Junior-Level Electrical Design Engineer role where you'll be working with genuine industry experts on Leading European Solar PV Projects - this one is for you!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>You’ll join a growing technical team at a Major European EPC supporting the design and delivery of large‑scale solar and energy‑storage projects. Working alongside senior engineers, you’ll help produce electrical designs, specifications, and technical documentation across LV/MV systems, protection, SCADA, and grid‑connected assets.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a Junior Level role, so support with the Project Team will be on hand, alongside an active program to build up your skills in the Electrical Engineering space.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Assist with LV, MV and HV electrical design</li><li>Produce CAD drawings, schematics, and design deliverables</li><li>Support protection, earthing, and SCADA specifications</li><li>Contribute to tenders, proposals, and technical reports</li><li>Ensure compliance with IEC standards and internal ISO processes</li><li>Support FAT/SAT activities and site engineering when required</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Degree in Electrical Engineering or close</li><li>Initial experience in power systems, renewables, or electrical design</li><li>Familiarity with AutoCAD; exposure to PVSyst, DigSilent, or similar tools is a bonus</li><li>Strong communication skills and willingness to learn</li><li>Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team</li><li>Full UK driving licence & ability to work in London 3x per week. xwzovoh </li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>What’s Offered</strong></p><ul><li>Strong company culture & supportive technical team</li><li>Clear development path into Senior Engineer roles</li><li>International exposure & tailored training</li><li>Hybrid working - 3x per week in London</li><li>Opportunities for travel across EU/UK</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Want to know More?</p><p>Reach out to Alex McGuigan at Matchtech</p><p> </p><p> </p>
