<p>Job Description</p><br>You could be just the right applicant for this job Read all associated information and make sure to apply.<br><p>Electrical Commissioning & Maintenance Engineer</p><p>Location: Thetford</p><p>Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 (DOE) + benefits</p><p>About the Role</p><p>A leading UK company in the design, manufacture, installation, and servicing of pumping equipment is seeking a dynamic and motivated Electrical Commissioning & Maintenance Engineer to join its external site teams.</p><p>This is a varied and hands-on role, working alongside mechanical engineers to install, commission, and service pumping equipment across multiple sites. The position offers national exposure while remaining regionally focused.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Carry out electrical work to support mechanical installations</li><li>Assist with after-sales service and breakdown support when required</li><li>Travel and stay away from home when necessary (minimised where possible)</li><li>Maintain and improve company procedures</li><li>Complete site reports and obtain customer sign-off after each visit</li><li>Submit reports and timesheets promptly</li><li>Represent the business professionally, promoting products and services</li><li>Ensure tools and materials are prepared before attending site</li><li>Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels</li><li>Manage petty cash and company credit card responsibly</li><li>Identify personal training and development needs</li><li>Follow all health and safety policies and procedures</li><li>Undertake additional duties as required</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>General knowledge of the engineering or pumping industry (desirable)</li><li>Experience in a xwzovoh similar role or maintenance environment</li><li>Experience with motors and/or pumps (desirable)</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>City & Guilds Level 3 – Inspection & Testing (initial and periodic)</li><li>Electrical qualification to 17th or 18th Edition (BS7671)</li><li>Confined Space Training (desirable)</li><li>First Aid Certification (desirable)</li><li>CSCS Card (desirable)</li></ul><p>Interested in finding out more?
