Dispatch Supervisor

Mivan is a dynamic, and progressive specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor, renowned for excellence and innovation.<br><br>Please read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.<br><br>With a global portfolio spanning luxury hotels, prime residential, commercial and marine sectors, we have built a reputation for delivering prestigious and complex projects.<br><br>We are currently looking for an experienced and driven Dispatch Supervisor.<br><br>The Dispatch Supervisor will join our busy production team producing high-quality bespoke joinery products, including case goods, bespoke doors, display furniture and fire-rated components.<br><br>This is a hands-on role where you will oversee dispatch operations, coordinate transport and logistics and ensure finished products are carefully packaged and delivered safely to project sites.<br><br>You will also manage the movement of materials and part-finished goods between suppliers, subcontractors and the factory.<br><br>If you enjoy problem solving, leading a team and working in a fast-paced production environment, this is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring projects run smoothly from factory to site.<br><br>Main duties will include: Supervise the dispatch function, ensuring products are packed, wrapped and loaded safely for transport.<br><br>Coordinate cost-effective transport of goods to sites and subcontractors.<br><br>Organise movement of materials from suppliers and project locations.<br><br>Record and maintain Dispatch Quality Checks Maintain service schedules for the company commercial vehicle fleet and factory lifting equipment Manage transport suppliers and arrange travel for site-based personnel when required Operate forklift and undertake driving duties as required What Were Looking For We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with experience supervising a dispatch, warehouse or similar function.<br><br>You will be a confident team leader, able to motivate and organise a team.<br><br>Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to plan workloads, solve problems and keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.<br><br>You should be comfortable using IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and hold a full UK driving licence.<br><br>A forklift licence and previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment would be beneficial but are not essential. xwzovoh <br><br>What we offer We will reward you with a competitive salary and benefits package, training and personal development opportunities and a range of initiatives designed to support a healthy work/life balance.<br><br>Core benefits include: Additional holidays Pension Health Cash Plan Length of service awards Employee wellness programme Holiday purchase scheme Closing date for applications is Wednesday, 20 May 2026 at 13:00.<br><br>Mivan is an Equal Opportunities Employer #Mivan<br>TPBN1_NI
