FM33442<br><br>Apply (by clicking the relevant button) after checking through all the related job information below.<br>Generator Engineer<br>£40,000 - £50,000<br>Hampshire<br>Alecto Recruitment are working with a well-established power generation company who are seeking a Generator Engineer to support the servicing, maintenance, and installation of generator systems across customer sites, ensuring reliable performance and minimal downtime.<br>Key Responsibilities & Tasks<br>Carry out servicing, maintenance, and installation of generator systems and control equipment.<br>Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on generators and associated systems.<br>Work on control panels and switchgear, ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely.<br>Conduct load bank testing and support upgrades to control systems.<br>Deliver high-quality work on customer sites while maintaining professional standards.<br>Ensure compliance with HSQE standards, company procedures, and legislation.<br>Manage spare parts, stock control, and complete all required documentation and records.<br>Participate in on-call rota and respond to emergency breakdowns when required.<br>Skills & Requirements<br>Time-served Generator Engineer.<br>Experience fault finding on generator control panels and switchgear.<br>Competent in portable load bank testing.<br>Familiar with Deep Sea Electronics (DSE) controllers and control system upgrades.<br>Proven fault finding and diagnostic ability.<br>Full UK driving licence and basic IT skills required.<br>INDW<br>To apply for this role please send your CV to or call ext 220 to discuss. xwzovoh <br>Equally, if this role would not be of interest to you but may be for a suitable friend or colleague, we can offer paid referral fees for successful placements.
