The main focus of the role will be delivering Food Technology, with some flexibility required to assist or cover lessons in Design Technology (DT) or ICT when needed.</p><p>Contract: Perm / Temp To Perm if needed.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Food Technology and enjoys working as part of a supportive department.</p><p>The Role</p><ul><li>Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4</li><li>Support or cover lessons in DT or ICT as required</li><li>Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the curriculum</li><li>Maintain a safe and well-organised classroom and practical learning environment</li><li>Support pupils’ progress and engagement in lessons</li></ul><p>The Ideal Candidate</p><ul><li>Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience</li><li>Strong background in Food Technology (this is the main priority)</li><li>Ability and willingness to cover or assist in DT and/or ICT where required</li><li>Good classroom management skills</li><li>Flexible, reliable, and confident teaching across subjects when needed</li><li>Experience in a secondary school setting preferred</li></ul><p>Why Apply? xwzovoh </p><ul><li>Food Technology-focused role</li><li>Supportive school environment</li><li>Opportunity for long-term or permanent placement</li><li>Competitive rates of pay (depending on role and experience)</li></ul><p>If you’re a Food Technology teacher looking for a role where your subject specialism is prioritised, but you’re happy to support across DT or ICT when needed, we’d love to hear from you.</p><p>To apply or for more information, please contact Harrison at Reed Education.</p>
