Reed Recruitment are delighted to be working with a prestigious client based in Co Fermanagh for a Deputy General Manager<br><br>Read on to find out what you will need to succeed in this position, including skills, qualifications, and experience.<br>Salary: Negotiable<br>The Role<br>As Deputy General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day leadership of the hotel, supporting the General Manager in overseeing all departments and acting as the senior decision-maker in their absence. Your focus will include operational efficiency, occupancy levels, financial performance, staff development and guest satisfaction.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Oversee daily hotel operations across Front of House, Accommodation, Kitchen, Food & Beverage, Events & Banqueting, Administration, Maintenance and Health Club<br>Ensure consistently high standards of service, staff presentation, hygiene, cleanliness and operational efficiency<br>Financial Control & Commercial Performance<br>Support KPI delivery, budgeting, forecasting, cost control and rota management<br>Implement operational strategies to maximise profitability, sales and guest experience<br>Deputising for the General Manager<br>Act as the main on-site decision-maker in the GM's absence<br>Lead management meetings and manage property operations with professionalism and confidence<br>Leadership, Communication & People Development<br>Lead, motivate and mentor department heads and wider teams<br>Drive a high-performance culture through training, performance management, accountability and clear communication<br>Support recruitment, onboarding and retention of high-quality team member<br>Guest Experience & Compliance<br>Always ensure exceptional guest service, handling feedback and complaints effectively<br>Maintain full compliance with health & safety, licensing and statutory obligations<br>About You<br>Essential Criteria<br>Minimum 2 years' experience as a Deputy General Manager in a similar hotel environment<br>Strong background in hotel or hospitality management at a senior operational level<br>Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills<br>Comprehensive operational knowledge across F&B, front office, kitchen, accommodation and hotel compliance<br>Good standard of education with a hospitality management qualification and relevant experience<br>Right to work and live in the UK / Northern Ireland (share code required for non-British/non-Irish candidates)<br>Desirable<br>Proven ability to mentor and develop management teams<br>Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, cost and rota management<br>Solid front- and back-of-house operational expertise<br>Passion for delivering high hospitality and customer xwzovoh service standards<br>Professional and confident communicator with staff and guests<br>Benefits:<br>Meal provided while on duty<br>Uniform and PPE<br>On-the-job, statutory and role-specific training<br>Secure on-site car parking<br>Staff room and lockers<br>Health Club membership discount<br>Discounts on hotel accommodation and meals<br>Employee Recognition and Awards programme<br>Management pension and health plans (discussed following probation)<br>Facial recognition clock-in system<br>Fortnightly pay for wages / monthly salary payments directly to your nominated bank account<br>If you are ready to take the next step in your hospitality career and join a prestigious, award-winning hotel with a strong people-focused culture, we would love to hear from you, please submit an up-to-date CV today via the "Apply" link, or you can call the Branch and speak to Donna
