Deputy General Manager Staffline Ireland are recruiting for a Deputy General Manager on behalf of our client within the hospitality sector.<br><br>Please ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely.<br><br>The Deputy General Manager will manage department heads and work closely with the General Manager to maintain high standards and drive the hotel's success.<br><br>This pivotal role requires a strategic and methodical thinker with exceptional leadership and organisational skills who will ensure operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and profitability.<br><br>Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate all operational departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and Events.<br><br>Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining service standards and ensuring compliance with brand guidelines.<br><br>Monitor operational efficiency and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and guest experiences.<br><br>Collaborate closely with the Front Office Manager to maintain and elevate guest satisfaction by ensuring exceptional service delivery across all departments.<br><br>Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.<br><br>Analyse guest feedback and implement strategies for continuous improvement.<br><br>Lead, inspire, and motivate department heads and staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.<br><br>Oversee recruitment, training, and development to ensure a highly skilled and engaged team.<br><br>Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to drive individual and team success.<br><br>Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost control and achieving revenue targets.<br><br>Collaborate with the General Manager on strategic planning to drive profitability and operational growth.<br><br>Analyse financial reports and implement measures to optimise resource allocation.<br><br>Take an active role in monitoring revenue management and revenue maximisation through knowledge of the hotel management systems and revenue management systems.<br><br>Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.<br><br>Maintain adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as 4-star quality standards.<br><br>Conduct regular audits and inspections to uphold service quality and operational integrity.<br><br>Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Head Office Team to align operational goals with the hotel's overall vision and strategy.<br><br>Act as the key liaison between departments to ensure seamless communication and cooperation.<br><br>Represent the hotel in professional forums and build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.<br><br>Any other duties role may involve.<br><br>Person Specification: Proven experience in leading multiple hospitality functions, preferably in a 4-star or higher hotel.<br><br>To include<br>- Food & Beverage Front of House Housekeeping Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.<br><br>Proven knowledge of sales and revenue within hospitality.<br><br>Experience in setting and managing operational budgets.<br><br>Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.<br><br>Solid understanding of financial management and operational metrics.<br><br>Excellent communication and people skills to build strong relationships with guests, team members, and stakeholders.<br><br>Proficiency in using hotel management systems and software.<br><br>A degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.<br><br>The Rewards The successful Deputy General Manager will enjoy a competitive salary depending on experience plus Free Parking, Staff Discount and opportunities for career progression.<br><br>Location The Deputy General Manager role will be based in Belfast. xwzovoh <br><br>To be considered for this position, please forward your CV to Ross McConville at Staffline Ireland by clicking on the APPLY button on this page and attaching your CV.<br><br>The Staffline Ireland Specialist Team is a dedicated division within Staffline Ireland, focused on providing Permanent, Contract & Temporary staffing solutions across; Construction, Engineering, Accountancy & Finance, Financial Services & Insurance, Health & Safety, HR, IT, Sales & Marketing, Senior Manufacturing, Procurement & Supply Chain & Medical, Health & Social Care.<br><br>Skills: Food & Beverage Hospitality Operations<br>TPBN1_NI
