Data Quality Analyst

This role is a <strong>12 month FTC.</strong></p><p><br><br>Experience, qualification, and soft skills, have you got everything required to succeed in this opportunity Find out below.<br></p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>As a Data Analyst within the Data Assurance & Quality function, you will work closely with Data Stewards, governance leads, and business stakeholders to identify data quality issues, improve reporting standards, and strengthen governance controls across the organisation.</p><p>This role combines:</p><ul><li>Data analysis</li><li>Governance & assurance</li><li>Stakeholder management</li><li>Regulatory reporting</li><li>Data quality improvement</li><li>Process optimisation</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Investigate data issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions to improve data accuracy and integrity</li><li>Drive and support business stakeholders and Data Stewards in creating and delivering data improvement plans</li><li>Define and monitor data quality and performance metrics aligned to business rules and governance standards</li><li>Produce data quality reports, dashboards, and scorecards, communicating findings clearly to business stakeholders</li><li>Maintain records of end-to-end data processing and information inventories to support audit and regulatory requirements</li><li>Support the completion and assurance of regulatory returns and compliance reporting</li><li>Assess the impact of data-related changes and ensure compliance with agreed data standards and definitions</li><li>Support Data Governance Forums and working groups through reporting, engagement, and governance activities</li><li>Work collaboratively across business and technical teams to improve data controls and processes</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Skills & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience in a <strong>Data Analyst</strong>, xwzovoh <strong>Data Quality Analyst</strong>, <strong>MI Analyst</strong>, or similar role</li><li>Strong experience with <strong>data governance</strong> and data quality frameworks</li><li>Strong SQL skills</li><li>Experience with reporting and dashboarding tools such as <strong>Power BI</strong></li><li>Advanced Excel skills</li><li>Experience creating data quality metrics, reports, and scorecards</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Experience working with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams</li><li>Ability to investigate and resolve complex data issues</li><li>Understanding of governance, audit, and regulatory reporting environments</li></ul>
