<p><strong>Position: Data Engineer – Azure Focused</strong></p><p><strong>Location: West London – 3 days in office / 2 days from home</strong></p><p><strong>Salary: Up to £70,000 + bonus</strong></p><p><br><br>Scroll down to find the complete details of the job offer, including experience required and associated duties and tasks.<br></p><p><strong>A long-standing partner of FinTop Consulting is hiring for a Mid-Level Azure-focused Data Engineer.</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>You will be joining a lean data team, which will allow you to get stuck in, present new ideas as well as have the autonomy to do what you love doing!</li><li>This position is heavy on the coding side due to the nature of the work, but it does come with its perks, for example; learning new AI & ML tools, as well as being part of the team integrating new analytical platforms.</li><li>Reporting to the Lead Engineer, you will be looking at existing code, finding those pain points, figuring out what it’s doing to then optimize and execute.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>MUST HAVE SKILLS: NON-NEGOTIABLES</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years in Data Engineering</li><li>Experience in Azure Synapse & Azure DL</li><li>Development in Python and maintenance of ETL Processes</li><li>Interesting in analytical platforms such as Microsoft Fabric.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>INTERVIEW PROCESS</strong></p><ul><li>1st stage – 30 minutes – Teams call – Technical dive with the Lead Engineer</li><li>Final stage – 90 minutes – F2F – Meet the team and Lead Engineer. xwzovoh Understanding the role, some tech conversations with a final discussion with the Technical Director to align expectations.</li></ul>
