<p><strong>Data Cabling Engineer</strong></p><p><strong>Data Centre & Corporate Projects | UK & International Travel</strong></p><p>An experienced <strong>Senior Cabling / Smart Hands Engineer</strong> is required to support data centre and corporate infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on role working in critical environments as part of a skilled delivery team.</p><p><br><br>Are you the right applicant for this opportunity Find out by reading through the role overview below.<br></p><p><strong>Key Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum <strong>3 years' experience</strong> in structured cabling</li><li>Strong <strong>data centre and enterprise environment</strong> experience</li><li>Installation, termination and testing of <strong>copper and fibre cabling</strong></li><li>Confident using <strong>Fluke test equipment</strong> for testing and fault finding</li><li>Experience installing cable pathways (tray, basket, trunking, fibre runner)</li><li>Rack & stack of network hardware (switches, routers, servers)</li><li>Power and data cabling within server and network racks</li><li>Able to follow patching schedules and technical documentation</li><li>Basic IP addressing under guidance</li><li>Health & Safety qualification xwzovoh (<strong>CSCS / ECS or equivalent</strong>)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications (Essential / Preferred)</strong></p><ul><li>At least <strong>3 manufacturer or industry accreditations</strong> (e.g. Commscope, Corning, Panduit)</li><li>Industry-recognised cabling training (CNET, BICSI, City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent)</li><li>IPAF and/or PASMA preferred</li></ul>
