This is not a traditional “fix-what’s-broken” security role, it’s a strategic, end-to-end transformation position where security must be embedded from the very start of architecture and design.</p><p>They are looking for an experienced Security Architect who can influence architectural direction, gain buy-in from technical stakeholders, and drive a secure-by-design mindset across the business. This role suits someone who combines deep technical architecture expertise with strong governance, risk, and compliance awareness.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Act as the lead authority for security architecture across platforms, infrastructure, applications, networking, and IAM.</li><li>Embed security principles into solution design across a multi-cloud environment.</li><li>Conduct architecture and design reviews, threat modelling, and risk assessments.</li><li>Partner with enterprise and solution architects to ensure security is considered from project inception.</li><li>Drive adoption of secure design standards, frameworks, and patterns across teams.</li><li>Support audits, regulatory requirements, and security assurance activities.</li><li>Participate in incident reviews and contribute to strategic remediation planning.</li></ul><p>Required Experience</p><ul><li>Proven experience in senior security architecture or similar strategic security roles.</li><li>Broad technical understanding across:<ul><li>Cloud (multi-cloud preferred)</li><li>Infrastructure & networking</li><li>Platforms & applications</li><li>Identity & Access Management</li><li>APIs and integrations</li></ul></li><li>Strong experience designing systems aligned with recognised frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR).</li><li>Ability to influence stakeholders and clearly communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>Experience working in regulated environments.</li></ul><p>Desirable Skills</p><ul><li>Exposure to enterprise platforms such as SAP (S/4HANA, RISE).</li><li>Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, SABSA, or TOGAF.</li></ul><p>Role Profile</p><ul><li>80% Technical Architecture — hands-on design, reviews, and architectural leadership.</li><li>20% GRC — governance alignment, framework mapping, and audit support.</li></ul><p>Why Apply?</p><ul><li>Opportunity to shape security architecture strategy during a period of organisational growth.</li><li>Influence enterprise-wide design principles rather than operating reactively.</li><li>Join a business that values security as a foundational architectural pillar, not an afterthought.</li></ul><p>Apply now to speak with VIQU IT in confidence.
