Cost Manager

<p><strong>Location:</strong> London</p><p><strong>Project Type:</strong> Data Centre Construction</p><p><br><br>If you want to know about the requirements for this role, read on for all the relevant information.<br></p><p><strong>Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Leading projects from a cost management / quantity surveying perspective.</li><li>The candidate will be an integral part of a team that is accountable for the commercial and contractual performance of a project.</li><li>To carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures.</li><li>Building and maintaining client relationships.</li><li>To support business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances.</li><li>Pre and Post contract Quantity Surveying duties.</li><li>Preparing and issuing tender documents.</li><li>Cost Planning including preparing cost budgets and appraisals, and elemental cost plans.</li><li>Identifying commercial opportunities.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar technical discipline.</li><li>Preferably Chartered via RICS or another relevant professional body or studying toward.</li><li>Strong technical delivery experience.</li><li>Strong M&E or Civils Cost Management experience.</li><li>Client facing, ensuring a high standard of technical delivery.</li><li>Previously employed by a consultancy, specialist M&E/Civils firm / contractor.</li><li>Stakeholder management with a clear focus on developing client accounts.</li><li>A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines.</li><li>Recognised as a client focused, positive collaborator who shares knowledge freely and offers support to their peers and seniors.
